A modern master of classic folk-country

I've been a fan for 6 years now and can honestly say with hand on heart that not only is this album Pete's best yet; but will be my album of 2010 (and I buy/listen to a LOT of music)but will also become a classic of the genre. PM takes a lot of influences (Dylan, Guthrie,Marvin Gaye,Roy Orbison and even Patsy Cline) then distils everything into his very own 'style' which is 100% 21st Century Country-Soul. Newcomers download 'Streetcar' or 'Minus Me' or (my own favourite) 'What a day' - and prepare to have your heartbroken!
