One of Pete's Best

EMUSIC-00D047BD

Sometimes we forget that Pete Seeger is a wonderful entertainer. Pete can carry an audience along with him in ways few artists can. This recording is delightful for the repetoire, the introductory comments and even for the fact that this audience can sing harmony reasonably well. If you are a fan of live recordings, this is one of the very best.

Pete Seeger is such a monumental figure in American music, that there is little i can add here. This is an enjoyable album, good way to listen to Seeger's art. NOTE! NOTE! When i donwloaded this, eMusic put all songs in the same folder, so it was impossible to separate what goes with disk one and disk two... :-( :-( :-( Download one album at a time, and move the MP3s to separate directories between downloads, instead, or you will end up with a mess and will have to re-download, like i did.

He also had a habit of pointing the… more »
