On Blue Cotton Skin, Petracovich (Jessica Peters) delivers a beautiful album full of dreamy, ethereal indie pop. The songs are written primarily around Peters' Piano and Rhodes and are supported by drumming that is tasteful and full of feel, bordering on trip-hop. Peters' whispery vocals sit well in the mix, inviting the listener to come closer to hear what she has to say.
