As good as it gets?
I've always liked Philip Glass quite a bit, but this is the first record of his that I've ever loved. This is moody, late night piano music at it's finest. I now realize that I've been listening and loving a lot of records that are actually very indepted to this. My favorite tracks of Yann Tiersen's "Amélie" soundtrack sound very similar to this. This record is not poisonous to those ones for me, but rather like discovering a new vein of gold! I recommend downloading the entire record as it is all very top notch. "Mad Rush" is perhaps the best song on the album.
