Vivaldi:Nisi Dominus

KINDERJAZZ

I went to hear Phillippe Jaroussky last night at Angel Place in Sydney with the Brandenburg Orchestra led by Paul Dyer. It was an exquisite programme of Handel and Porpora and their rival castrati. Phillippe Jaroussky was so comfortable in the high counter-tenor range and so smooth. A real mix of beauty and technique. He has the most amazing tone, both powerful and agile. He has an amazing skill. It left me wanting to hear more and I'll be looking out for his new album!
