The Appleseed Cast / Planes Mistaken For Stars / Race Car Riot

The Split EP from the Deep Elm imprint features three bands from their roster, all of which have appeared on the label’s Emo Diaries compilation series. The EP kicks off with a track from PMFS (Planes Mistaken For Stars), followed by three from Race Car Riot and two from Appleseed Cast. While it’s difficult to get a read on which bands have the most potential, what with the limited amount of material here, it’s mostly solidly written and played. – Steve Huey
