Beautiful And Sublime Jazz

These guys are awesome, they lay down sophisticated, beautiful and sublime avant Jazz, the percussion work is heavenly and the bass reminds you sometimes of Eberhardt Weber, and the horn player can be sweet in a way that reminds you sometimes of Coltrane. Just beautiful and deep stuff.

this is not really jazz (there is hardly any improvisation here, I am sure) nor is it word music (even though it uses world music instruments to great effect) or new age (even though it does share a certain ethereal quality with some of that genre). it is just gorgeous, touching, haunting music, unique to this group, like nothing you ever heard. Absolutely recommended without reservations.
