What bluegrass should be
It reminded me of all the times I used to go to bluegrass festivals and lie on my back, close my eyes and be carried away by the music. Awesome.
Amazing
Unless you are a musician yourself, you almost have to see these guys live to appreciate the craft they bring to a performance. We all know how sound edits and post production tricks can clean up the sound of musical novices. Now listen to some true masters of their respective instruments. There are no tricks, just great licks. This album is more proof that some of the best musicians alive today are playing newgrass, alt-country, americana, or whatever it is you want to call it. I call it great.
