i know these have the same name as the old athens georgia band, but these are a million miles away from that sound. This band were formed in the late 90`s by people who used to be in chopper, a pretty obscure uk pop punk bands that were a suprise hit in th u.s.of a(well, lance from j church liked them!) Give unstoppable a listen, brilliant song, always on repeat on my nongenericmp3player!

I started downloading this, ignorantly thinking that it was something new by the real Pylon. These dudes suck for stealing the name. I will not cast judgement on their music, as I deleted it is soon as I realized what was happening. Grrr. /being nice to them
What a shame - this is some power pop band that has apparently appropriated the name of Athens, GA's awesome punk funk trio who, according to the Village Voice, "ate dub for breakfast". The real Pylon still kicks around and threatens to release a new album now and again, so stealing their name is hopefully premature and will be addressed.
