Tracks 9-13 from "Pay The Deuce"
Alabama's Quadrajets were one of the best live bands ever, pumpin' out pure aural adrenochrome in a Stooges-meet-Skynyrd style that was best captured on 1998's "Pay The Deuce" and 2000's "When The World's On Fire", both on the now-defunct Estrus label. This is a "best of" compilation, and the highlight for me is tracks 9 through 13 - all from the out-of-print (of course) and notoriously hard-to-find "Pay The Deuce." I'm a little surprised at the inclusion of only 2 tracks (the last 2 here) from "World's On Fire" - that one's solid all the way thru (and much easier than "Deuce" to locate in finer used CD bins across the USA.)
