Re-Recorded

JoeKlondike

For situations like this, the band would make no money if emusic were to post the original recording, only the record company would profit. Soooo.... that's why we have re-recordings, so the band can make money off of it. STYX did this with "Crystal Ball" on their Greatest Hits because the wouldn't have made ANY profits from using the original recording which is owned by Wooden Nickle Records.

Blame the label

Mutthound

Emusic posts what it gets from the record companies. Blame the label for trying to pass off demos and remakes as the greatest hits.

More sleazemusic.com trickery

BTDJ

Once again Emusic tries to palm off remakes that lack the same spark as the original recordings. As soon as I'm finished with this month's downloads I'm cancelling my membership!!!!!!

Not Original : (

Cum On Feel the Noisz sounded like the original version but I should have listened more carefully before downloading it. These are re-recordings, even if by the same artist.

These are cheesy remakes. Pass.

For those interested in the genre, The Best of Quiet Riot contains all of Quiet Riot’s biggest hits, from “Cum On Feel The Noize” to a live version of “Metal Health.” While some favorites such as “Winners Take All” are missing, the most enjoyable pop-metal songs produced by Quiet Riot through 1988 all made it to this compilation. – Barry Weber
