Not bluegrass... very original guitar solos
I saw Keenan Lawler perform live this summer, and he was completely mesmerizing. His songs seem to be based on simple blues, modal structures, or raga-like drones, but he has some utterly original methods of playing, all of which seem to extract a greater sonic range from of the guitar. This is a good recording of some really good material, but watching him make these sounds was a real treat.
