Krishna Wouldn't Mind

Ganesha

Contrary to what the prior reviewer accuses, Kim Waters, the vocalist, is, like Hans Christian, a Western Vaishnava devotee, who's done Hindu devotional art for such publication houses as Mandala Publishing. So she definitely 'knows' what she's singing. Yes, it's an Indian/Western hybrid, so what's wrong with that? Heart-felt and genuine and sincere Bhakti yoga. I'm a staunch Hindu AND a lover of classical Indian music, but also Western Jazz, and contemporary alternative rock. The best of both worlds. I just find the New Age label somewhat trivializing.

beautiful concept

actually this singer, who makes this very ancient beautiful and powerful music into pop songs, does not know anything about what she is singing. for this singer, a spiritual being is a tall nordic muscular guy in skimpy shorts. its nice music, just not Dharmic music.
