Now in his seventies, Ray Campi has been performing Roots Country Music since at least 1951. Noted for his energetic upright bass technique, he draws on a number of styles, from Swing to Classic Hillbilly, and is a member of the Rockabilly Hall of Fame. Several of the numbers on this album include knocks at the commercial record industry (which has tended to show little interest in this type of music). The tracks included here are drawn from a range of Ray's work from 1966 t0 2006
