It's not a rock album. It is a painting.


I don't know how to describe Red Sparowes other than to say, they aren't rock, though they certainly rock. They capture and express all the angst of any good rock band without all the adolescent lyrics. They remind me much more of a painting, or a novel. They just happen to use guitars, pedal steel, drums, bass and who knows what else to paint a picture. A lovely and hypnotic picture.
