Their Best Album
Third Eye didn't get as much attention as Neurotica, for some reason. Strange because it's on Atlantic. Maybe they didn't understand how to promote a band on college radio or whatever. But this is really Redd Kross at their best. "1976," "Shonene Knife" and "Elephant Flares" rock hard. "Bubblegum Factory" is a perfect parody of something like The Archies. "Where I Am Today" and "Faith Healer" have those Partridge Family-like harmonies, but are also really fine pop songs. Even an Elton John style ballad on "I Don't Know How to Be Your Friend." Seriously, if you like Neurotica, get this.
