A really good band in need of a good studio

Yet another Bay Area band that sounds great live but has yet to capture the magic on recording. Their recorded material sounds like it was recorded on a boom box, but live they can be quite overwhelming. Sometimes its hard to tell if they're serious or joking, but in this irony saturated world where every band seems to be trying to one-up each other in cutesy witticisms a bit of confusion is welcome thing.
