My favorite 70s "punk" album - holds up under repeated listening better than Marquee Moon. Do yourself a favor and get the complete album.

The whole album may not be as even or consistent as one would wish but Richard Hell (whether with Television, the Voidoids, or the Heartbreakers) IS New York City punk rock. Safety pins and ripped up clothes? You can blame this guy. If not the entire album and pick up the song's "Love Comes In Spurts" or the masterpiece of a title track. I guarantee you will not be able to get "Blank Generation" out of your head for weeks!
