They Say All Music Guide

Well this is a little better than their self-titled album on Lookout; the songs on “Storm the Streets” are a lot faster, leaving no chance that they will induce narcolepcy. The Riverdales still have that Ramones edge on their second album as well as an all around bitterness courtesy of Mr. Ben Weasel. But just like their last album -and former band Screeching Weasel for that matter- The Riverdales have a problem with all of their songs sounding the same. Maybe that’s why this project was so short lived. – Mike DaRonco
