What a pleasant surprise
Having been a jazz listener for 20 years before moving into baroque and early baroque music, I found this album absolutely brilliant...especially as Lamento della ninfa is one of my all time favourites...I am not expert enough to judge all the musical ins and outs.....but this will be listened to on a regular basis...who would have thought Monteverdi meets Stan Getz.....would be such a success.
