I saw her live last night.....
....in a small converted church in Coleman, Alberta, and this was my introduction to Romi Mayes. Her poster calls her music "dirty country blues", and that's what her show was all about. The CDs on emusic are much more mellow than her live presentation, but are gorgeous. If you ever get a chance to see this very busy lady on tour, do not miss it.
