The Rooftop Singers installment of the Vanguard Visionaries series may have “Walk Right In” and “Tom Cat,” but this ultra-low-budget collection has about as many frills as one of those mid-’80s Scantron tests (kind of looks like one, too). Fans looking for a better overview of this pioneering folk revival act should check out (ironically) 2004′s peerless Best of the Vanguard Years. – James Christopher Monger
