Hooray!
I'm so glad to see Runrig here at last. Can we have some more, please?

This newly recorded live version of "Loch Lomond" will make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up! Although I am slightly biased toward the older live recording with Donnnie Munro who has since left the group, I wasn't disappointed with this new effort. The original live version was performed outdoors on the banks of Loch Lomond, and when the audience joined in towards the last half of the song, the excitement was electrifying. Donnie's replacement, Bruce Guthro, is the lead singer on this EP, and like the first live recording, the audience chimes in during "Loch Lomond" towards the end and comes close (not quite, but close) to the greatness of the original. It rocks. Clash of the Ash is also very, very good. If you don't know this Scottish folk rock band that has been recording for 30+ years and has a loyal following, it's time to jump on the bandwagon. Runrig is a unique, incredible band. Big, big plus for eMusic!
