pretty wicked, 'n wickedly pretty ...

creekgeek

but, when it comes to blues? looks ain't nothin' ... she really does sing well, and the music sounds good. This album reminds me a bit of Gretchen Wilson, with hints of North Jones and early Melissa Etheridge (not to say they're likely to find themselves in the company of any of the aforementioned anytime soon, but I liked the last track enough to actually *buy* it ~;-)

Nice work

helenko

She's definitely paying attention and doin' her homework. Ruf finds another female guitar player with chops and THIS one can actually sing! I'd prefer it if the guitar work wasn't so rock - I wonder if that is her preference or somebody else's. Anyhow, I like this recording a good bit.

The Girl's got Chops

LesPaulPlayer

This is a really well mixed recording. Her voice has the gritty sound of classic lady blues singers. Guitar work is classic. Overall a very good album.(guess I'm dating myself with that one)

feelin ALright!

very nice bluesy debut. reminds me of the early bonnie raitt. give Feelin Alright a listen and you'll be hooked. very clean recording that acsenuates the guitar as well as her voice.
