important note!

Blissteeria

The tracklisting for this UK version is different from the US version. To get all the Sarah Cracknell tracks, simply download the other (US) version of Lipslide, Kelly's Locker, and the b-side Empire State High (which you can probably live without anyway) Otherwise you will be very confused why you downloaded "Anymore" twice.

Excellent

This is every bit as good as Saint Etienne at their best. Songs like 'Ready or Not', 'Coastal Town' and 'Can't Stop Now' are pure pop at its best. Worth checking out the singles for some of the b-sides as well.

They Say All Music Guide

Recorded as St. Etienne was on an extended hiatus, Sarah Cracknell’s solo debut Lipslide is a breezy, endearing record that wears its lightweight aspirations proudly. Divided equally between Euro-dance and British Invasion pop, Lipslide is a triumph of style over substance, but its surfaces are so appealing that the uneven songwriting doesn’t matter. And when Cracknell’s writing does succeed, as on “Anymore,” and “Ready or Not,” Lipslide shines with both infectious, well-crafted melodies and sparkling, sunny charm. – Stephen Thomas Erlewine
