Great Band Defies Categorization
The vocals of Sarah Mac feature wonderfully unique phrasing, and a nice variety of vocal sounds from raw and brassy on "In Smoky Bars" to smooth , soft and silky on "Someone Else's Sin". The guitar playing, mostly acoutic,is exceptionally rythmic,and provides a driving force and depth that makes for a unique sound. Solid, funky bass lines, and a drummer who seems to really have a feel for the music complete the group. Loved It and expect a lot more output from this group.
