Phew...
It's good and the 'Commonwealth' bit is just to stop him being confused with all the other Scott Millers!

Who cares if this is the Commonwealth, or solo or if he recorded it with pixies? This is great, and the cover of Tom T.'s I Can't Dance is worth it alone. But it is strong top to bottom!
I'm looking right here at the CD and the Commonwealth is credited all over the place... just not on the cover. I think perhaps "The Commonwealth" happens to be whoever he's got in the studio or on the road with him at any given time... and you can definitely hear the band on the majority of tracks here. So, um, SOLO... not quite. But it IS definitely more of the quality Scott Miller history- and heart-aware roots rock country thang many of us have come to know and love over the years... especially in the live setting!
This should just be under SCOTT MILLER, not SM&TC. Anyway, fantastic album with a very raw production value. The emotional draw of this album is very erratic, but still a solid rock/Alt. Country album.
