Great return from exile!
Sea Seger's previous album, in 2000, was a critical success (on a major label) and then she somehow disappeared. Now, ten years later, apparently from nowhere, comes this great follow-up album. It is musically varied, lyrically intelligent and deeply introspective. There is a real strength to her vocals - and she has a great voice. On her website http://www.sheaseger.com/) she explains that it is self-titled because it couldn't be otherwise. It is, though, an excellent album, one that builds and ends even better than it began. If writing a review encourages others to discover it, then I'm pleased to share.
