Solid English language release from Welsh veterans
Sibrydion (Welsh for "Whisper") came into existence 2 albums before this one. The founding brothers had previously been in Welsh rock band Big Leaves which had some fame in UK & Europe in the late 90s/early 2000's with a sound I'd liken to Supergrass, Super Furry Animals, Bluetones and a mix of Welsh and English lyrics. Sibrydion took those roots and has elements that seem both more adventurous with technology/effects and at times folkier. The Welsh rock scene has some tremendous and overlooked talent. An enjoyable listen. Hopefully emusic will post Sibrydion's first release, JigCal, which is outstanding and has my favorite Sibrydion song "Dafad Ddu" ("Black Sheep").
