This Album is Spectacular
Do yourself a favour and take it in. There are shades of so many other wonderful bands: VU, Pavement, Kinks, Constantines, Neutral Milk Hotel, Shearwater. So good.

Montoronto!
Merrill Garbus of tUnE-YaRds, Patrick Gregoire of Islands and his drummer friend, Nico Dann, put this album out earlier this spring to surprisingly little fanfare. Hard to get a handle on it from the 30 sec teasers but you can check out the entire LP at lala.com (it's also on Rhapsody). These guys deserve a listen!
