a little disappointed
I heard 'It Doesn't Always Have to Be Beautiful' on the radio, and was sad that its grandiose, poetic exuberance didn't match the rest of the album. Would it cause you physical pain to step away from the Belle and Sebastian for a while? The acoustic Alphabeat sound works much better for them. I retain hope for more of the originality shown on that one tack in the future...
