Energizing and Uplifting!

ThalassicQuestor

9.7 days of music in my iTunes, but take a look-see at my "Top 25 Most Played" and Solar Fields Blue Moon Station is at the top. I do a lot of graphic design work and this entire album is the perfect accompaniment. It gets me in the right frame of mind to work for hours without fatigue. Overall, a wonderful album. Highly recommended.

Not Blue at all

Thetis

This was a breath of fresh air when I came across it and I played (most of) it to death. Its playful, uplifting and takes the best of spacey ambient and trance so no shapeless wandering or trashy thudding techno beats. The exceptions are Magnetic Air and Swimming with Stones, neither of which really get going. If you have a problem with the tracks being cut off, your MP3 player maybe can't handle continuous play or you've got the tracks out of order.

mixed cd

to dbjmontgomery: the tracks all fade into one another, so if you only have a single one, the ending is abrupt

Solar Fields

I downloaded several cuts from several different cd's. All really very good. Just 1 thing. All cuts seemed to chop the last couple of seconds off the end of the tracks, ending very unnaturally. Anyone else experience this? Sounds like an error to me. I emailed emusic and have not heard back yet.

Imagine floating in one of those tanks where you can't feel your body while watching a holographic movie of outer space. This is how this albums will make you feel. Cosmic stuff indeed!! WOW

Spectacular

Airlane

Spectacular album. If you like spacious, thought provoking lush synth drop combined with carefully placed beats and effects, this album is for you. Great music to pump through headphones and escape into the sound.

Absolutely fabulous

DeathByZamboni

This one is hard to classify. It's more energetic at times than a lot of ambient with elements of psytrance, but it's also so uplifting and smooth that you wouldn't call it techno. It varies from fast to slow, from wired to chill...and the way it does so is part of what it makes it so great and never mundane. Rather than noodling around like a lot of ambient, these songs seem to have a more true song structure. The pacing varies almost as if it were verse-chorus-verse in a way that plays on our inner musical vibe. I'll be playing this one for a long time.
