This relatively new band continues the “band” tradition (as opposed to the more downhomey accordion-led tipico tradition), and in fact seems to be operating in a cumbia-romantica vein — midtempo grooves (often enhanced by clarinet) which sway behind the sleepy voice of Adriana Moreno. – Carl Hoyt
