This is one of Sounds of Blackness' better recordings. The first 2 songs are new versions of 2 favourates from previous recordings and there is a great mix of covers like Good Bless the Child and sprirtuals like Steal Away and Swing Low Sweet Chariot. And a great version of the Marvin Gaye classic God is Love. Sounds of Blackness mix both modern and traditional elements and styles into their music which keeps it fresh and interesting. I'm not rarely a christian but love gospel music and this CD does it for me.
