Best Shoegaze in Years

kysrsoze

I'm happy to hear Dean Garcia has finally ditched that techno direction Curve took later in their career and went back to the dark, dreamy electronic noise had made them so special, but in a more subdued direction. Rose Berlin does a good job in trying to fill some pretty big shoes. This album feels like a nice blend of Lush, Curve and MBV. Very nice, indeed. Hope to see more of this in the future.

Main Streamed

Well, I think the singer can't sing and the overall atmosphere is over done or too much smooth. Can't grab enough spirit here, just loly popy tracks...

Rather fine

WORLDBYSTORM

An interesting album, less aggressive than Curve, more rooted in the hazier side of shoegaze and all the better for it. Some lovely tracks here. Very impressive. The Mixes work well too.
