Rockin' Country

Average-Nights-Jack

Come on America, why does it take the Brits to recognise something (someone) really good, way before you. I agree with everything Junior Dog says in his review, Stacie is the real deal. This album lays sound foundations for the even better 2010 release "Sometimes you gotta" and both are a must for anyone who is into real rockin' country.

Ms Collins has it all...

JuniorDog

She has a great voice and great songs, she's a great harmonica player and she has a great band on this record, including the legend that is Dan Baird on guitar and knob-twiddling duties. This record showcases all of the above, and as well as being in heavy rotation in my car, kitchen and mp3 player since I first heard it (a couple of years ago) it's a great advert for the band's live shows. It sounds like a night out in the best bar-room, honky-tonk, club you've ever come across, with hints of rock, country, blues and a wonderful Stonesy swagger. The only thing wrong with this record is that it's only forty minutes long; Stacie and her band sure leave you wanting more!
