FAKE!!!!

Starship

Someone please tell me the point of even recording a cover album of Starship's hits from the 80's when there is no shortage of actual albums actually by Starship readily available on the open market. I can imagine some sort of futuristic dystopia in which the music by the original band was outlawed because it rocked too much (like in the Footloose town that outlawed dancing) and had to be replaced by lame versions so people wouldn't enjoy them but thankfully we do not live in such a world. NOT YET ANYWAY!

This is a fake. These are not the original versions. emusic should clearly inform that these are re-recordings. Disgusting.

"Sara" and "Nothing's Gonna Stop us Now" are very good. I think they are better than the originals. Sometimes the remakes are just as good if not better!

Micky Thomas

EMUSIC-1967

After everyone leftJefferson Starship/Starship only Micky Thomas was left as a long time member(He sang all their late 70's and ALL their 80's hits)Micky put together a band called them Micky Thomas' Starship. They Toured(I saw them play Denver)and went into the studio and re-recorded the hits...this is that album. If you want only originals I think there is something wrong with you all. If you go to a concert you don't get originals you get a live version of the song they play on the radio.

LAFNATU!

DickManne

You've got to give these bastards credit for trying to milk the poor suckers without an ear for whatever they can get with these re-recorded versions of excellent rock classics. If you're a true fan you can download these tracks for a laugh at what happens in "the business". Get real, people..........
