Just sit back and relax. Or study. Or read. Whatever you need to do, this is the music for it.

They Say All Music Guide

Hanno Leichtmann’s debut as Static surpassed many similar albums that made a conscious attempt to bring logic back to the ever-fractioning and progressively socially intolerant community of post-rock-influenced intelligent techno. Thanks to the occasional guest vocal appearances of Tarwater’s Ronald Lippok and Justine Electra, Eject Your Mind had a curving, meditative feel. Twitched-out noises, often the beginning and end of many IDM LPs, rebounded off a soft wall of vinyl grooves, pop hooks, tickly keyboards, and micro-dub bass, and the result was unquestionably pleasant, much like Björk’s Vespertine with better ideas, while still slightly off with claustrophobic underscoring and a kind of toy-box tunefulness. – Dean Carlson
