A return to the core of electronic music
Light Years takes electronic music back to the core of what electronic music is all about. The ability to explore different emotions and moods and seems to rely on riffs from all the classics ranging from Tangerine Dream where you can hear 'Love on a Real Train' on the title track to Energy '52s 'Cafe del Mar' on the Eternity track. In many electronic albums today they have relied on new sounds and technology too much and it is nice when an album like Light Years shows it is possible to come back to the core and produce a wonderful album that showcases electronic music. Well done.
