genius
My take on it is this. the ugly parts make the beautiful parts twice as melodic and beautiful. hes epic, imaginative, great stories. love this band!

If you're collecting Sunset Rubdown songs, collect it!

The production is a little scratchy and lo-fi, but that just adds to its unique charm.
DIY Rubdown
I love this record it has such a quirky DIY feel, almost like very early pre-Dare Human League.Sunset Rubdown before they got big. Don't get me wrong I think Random Spirit Lover is THE record of 2007 but sometimes it's almost a pity that bands have to grow up.
