wow im a big fan of JLT from rainbow and ymgwie and even the other sunstorm album but thsi sounds like a bad version of survivor or the last journey album. too many slow ballads n not enough rockers. i think theres 4 of em here thats it.. so try song 1 2 n maybe 6
Joe Lynn Turner has a great melodic rock voice. Not all of his release are radio friendly as hi s80's stuff. But most 80's groups aren't either. That said, this is a solid rock pop performance. I like the first Sunstorm cd better. This isn't bad. Maybe it will grow on me. I like #8. Whole album, is somewhat calm.
very talented, very well written -- but boring.
If you are still looking for that sound from the 80's that seemed to disappear, this is where you will find it. Great music and vocals from a talented band. These guys are extremely underrated but will catch your interest with the good old fashioned sound of rock.
JLT is truly a gifted singer and the SS band do a great job in delivering these numbers mostly penned by other writers. If the first track does not get you then mabe this is the wrong section of emusic for you..
