Sussan Deyhim soars
Like "Possessed" and "Madman of God", these are beautifully textured and layered vocal treatments rather than songs as such -- very atmospheric with a dark undercurrent. The first track has perhaps the most impassioned singing (wordless), and some other tracks feature little or no vocal content, so her collaborator Richard Horowitz should get equal billing. New Age? I dunno, but this is meditative and harmonically intoxicating music.
