They were great fun
They were great fun, and are surprisingly badly good 30 odd years later. A Trip to Marineville is far better, but if you get into it, this one was a decent follow up.

Jane Caire, can we take your canoe on a Trip to Marineville and set fire to that self-portrait in your closet? Regards, SM. Otherwise, a smashing steady beat when not occupied by continental drifts. -JLazy (The Johnny Lazybones)
New york......punk at its finest
I don't think its quite as good as A Trip to Marineville (which I'd already got on CD) but its certainly as adventurous. They start like a lo-fi punk band and then turn into maverick art rockers, that aren't afraid of Sonic Youth style guitar overkill, alongside more esoteric tracks.
