Soldiers

djantithetical

If you like Switchblade, or even if you're just curious about them, download the song "Soldiers." Its funky trip hop beat sounds great in your car, and the operatic chorus brings it to gothic perfection. Everyone I know whose opinion is worth considering LOVES this song.

A Diva Singer!

ELIZABOYER

Actually she has a high pitch opera like voice depending which song your listning to. Like fractal track 12 and soliders plus Dirty Dog. She has a lot of tracks were she sings in a high pitch ooooh voice that's opera like. They even had her sing for Phantom of the Opera revised thing. I really like her lyrics, voice, she's different talented gothic like that i like. I wish I had a strong high tone of voice like her. I almost do, I have a high tone singing voice but not as strong as her best tone high pitch! Tina the main singer is also found in Gothic Diva's cd. Love this cd and the rest. I'm a big fan. Listen to her music almost everyday. I think the guy who wrote the review below is tone deaf. Dido!

Anyone?

Am I the only one who noticed that this girl can not sing? At all? I'd rather listen to Paris Hilton.

They Say All Music Guide

Bread and Jam for Frances took the darkwave pretensions of Switchblade Symphony’s previous material and pushed it through an even more stylized electronic filter. Bristol beats were positioned next to hip-hop scratches and regular guitar riffs and the band would experiment around the goth scene’s regimented bleakness to surprising effect. Tina Root’s vocals were as unreliable as ever — sometimes disturbing, sometimes pantomime — but the new flamboyantly trip-hop approach to songs like “Soldiers” and “Harpsichord” and the large majority of the rest of the album suited the band well. – Dean Carlson
