Another good Taj Recording

EMUSIC-00391344

I like the Fox Theatre recording better, but there is a lot to recommend this live performance as well. At one point Taj apologizes to the audience for being too tired. The man knows how to work!

I was there!

I was at this show so I'm a little partial because this is more of a time capsule for me than anything else. But with the EMusic catalog upgrade they've added some Taj and I HIGHLY recommend Taj, Nat'Blues, Giant Step. Giant Step's been my favorite for a long time. Looking foward to Taj and Bonnie Raitt together at Chateau Ste Michelle Labor Day weekend. It's been 6 years, hoping he still sounds this good.

My friend found this on eMusic and called to say that-- even though he wasn't sure if it was the show we went to years ago-- he swore he heard me yelling as Taj begins playing "Lovin' In My Baby's Eyes" (a KILLER song). Just found the old ticket stub, and this was indeed the show. So cool. And, yes, a great show. Worth the download.

Wow!

This is my introduction to Taj Mahal. An episode of 'House' played his version of 'Honky Tonk Woman' (not on emusic) and I liked it - so I found this album. I was just going to download a couple of tracks and ended up with the whole album. Amazing blues

Chill

Cosmo

What can I say? You can't go wrong with Taj Majal. Please, if you are ever going to have another friendly dinner party with your closest friends or a quiet evening with your lover and bottle of vino, download the album and chill.
