Strikes a balance of retro and new
Just finished listening to this for the fourth spin. I really like the production on this one, it's a very compressed sound, but in a GOOD way. All the songs have tasty hooks- the sound schemes remind me of ELO/jeff Lynn, and old Moody Blues. The unexpected arrangements give me faith that more contemporary songwriters will create thoughtful music as opposed to following the MOR pop stream. Congrats to you Tally Hall for a true winner! ~TH~
