Revelator

junksmith

You know how it seems like every album has one song you wish they had left off--it's not necessarily bad; you just want to skip over it. Well, there must be one on this album but I have been listening to it every day for a week and still haven't found it. But I'm not discouraged. I'll listen to this album as often as I can looking for that song that's not quite perfect. If I find it, I'll let you know. If you don't hear from me in a year, assume I'm still looking. I believe I'll listen to it right now--research you know.

Excellent!

Great musicianship, great groove. Why isn't there more of this type of music available?

A friend from made a request the other day. I liked the song and had to review the whole album which is awesome. I will be sharing this find with friends in Second Life.

Double the talent

This is one husband-wife collaboration that works -- on all levels. Derek Trucks has few peers on guitar and Susan Tedeschi is unmistakably in a class of her own, with those distinctive vocals. Together they are magic on "Bound for Glory" and "Midnight in Harlem." Saw them live just before I bought these and other tracks. Great album from a couple of great performers and their supporting cast.

so very excellent!!!!

Love both these artists and they are best together. This collection of songs with a stellar band behind them is most excellent. Midnight in Harlem is our favorite but the whole album is worth downloading.

Way too cool!

This album has groove that won't quit. There's a certain level you expect from Derek and Susan, and it gets blown away here. Such a cohesive solid album, the songs are the star on this one. There not too much of any one thing leaving plenty of room for this album to be enjoyed time and time again. HIghlights if I had to pick would be Learn How To Love and Midnight In Harlem. Can't wait for the next one.
