The Best Band Of This Galaxy

AmilcarHenrique

This is the best rock band since The Beatles, The Kinks, The Clash.

My Uptight Life...

...wonderful, wonderful song. Tears in my eyes, lump in my throat as the repeated line gathers more and more power. Rest of the album is good but not classic TFC.

great T.F. album

bodie

Disregard the review, this is a good album of T.F.; as usual, nice pop songs, all kind of guitars, nice organ, great singers. They've got 3 good songwriters, what a band! Highly recommended.

Phantastic uplifting album

I do not agree at all with the official review up there. Howdy! is absolutely uplifting, and full of wonderfull songs. If you're tired of this, you're tired of life, Jason Ankeny. When I'm tired of it all, I just listen to "I Need Direction" and I feel fine. Thanks TFC!

I remember disovering Teenage Fanclub circa '95... lost track & rediscovered here on eMusic. Good stuff: if ya dig retro 12-string garage pop a la Byrds etc... this is for you. And the buttery smoothe vocal harmony is as good as anything you'll ever hear in this vein. Just some really good pop tunes here.

With a screech of feedback comes Teenage Fanclub's 1991 college rock hit "The Concept": "She wears denim wherever she goes/ Says she's gonna get some records by… more »
