I was a big fan when this record first came out. Had it on cassette (!), so I was glad when this became available on emusic. Wondered if it would sound dated, but I have to say it still sounds fresh and exciting and original. Now, if they'd only bring back "Neither Fish Nor Flesh."

It’s also his best, because it takes the fine songwriting of his debut and melds it to the sonic excesses of Fish.
