Simply sublime
The emusic review got it right except when it implies that the last fifteen minutes drag a little. Really? I think in this day and age our expectations are a little too strobe light dependent.

This guy takes you to a different place. His lyrics and melodies are carefully delivered which makes for rewarding listening experience. Also, check out his EP, "To Be Loved By Jesus." It is simply beautiful.
Definitely one of my favorite alt-country albums of the last ten years. Oddly, I'd say the first song is the weakest, but the others are a great soundtrack for lazy summer evenings. Reminds me a little bit of Willie Nelson's 70s stuff.
I bought this record shortly after it came out, and to this day it's one of my all-time favorites. Absolutely fabulous.
